Why take an assessment?

A simple check-in can change your next step.
Assessments help you put language (and structure) to what you’re feeling—so you can move from “I’m not sure” to “Here’s what I might need.”

Get clarity fast

nderstand how you’re tracking across common wellbeing areas.

Track progress

Revisit assessments to see trends over time (not just a one-off moment).

Choose next steps confidently

Use results as a guide for learning, habits, or professional support.

Evidence-informed assessments, all in one place

Access assessments in the ThoughtFull app. You can also receive assessments via chat when prompted by a ThoughtFull Professional.
Available assessments include:

Emotional health screening

DASS (Depression, Anxiety & Stress Scales): Measures depression, anxiety, and stress in one assessment (21 questions).

Satisfaction with life scale

SWLS: Measures overall life satisfaction.

Psychological wellbeing assessment

WHO-5: A short 5-question wellbeing index to check your overall mental wellbeing.

Personal health assessment

PHQ-9: Screens and measures severity of depression.
How it works
Pick what you want to check in on
Choose an assessment based on what you’d like clarity on right now: stress and mood, overall wellbeing, life satisfaction, resilience, or work wellbeing. You can start with a broad check-in (like WHO-5) or go deeper (like DASS, PHQ-9).
Answer a short set of questions (self-paced)
Each assessment is a guided set of questions you can complete in one sitting, no prep needed. Respond honestly based on how you’ve been feeling recently. You can do it whenever it suits you, in your own time.
Get clear results you can track over time
Once you finish, you’ll see a clear outcome that helps you understand where you are today. For select assessments (like DASS), you’ll also be able to repeat it over time and view trends, so you can notice patterns, track progress, and see what’s improving.
Grow with your next best step
Your results aren’t the end; they’re a starting point. From there, head to Grow to take action with supportive tools like:
- Bite-sized Learn Packs aligned to key wellness pillars
- Practical exercises and guidance to build healthier habits
- Content that helps you strengthen coping skills and resilience over time

Who is this for?

If you want clarity without overthinking it

You’ve been feeling “off,” overwhelmed, or emotionally drained and want a grounded way to understand what’s going on.

If you’re high-functioning but not okay

You’re getting things done, but it feels harder than it should. You’re constantly tired, irritable, or on edge, even when life looks “fine” on paper.

If work is affecting your wellbeing (or vice versa)

You’re feeling stretched, unmotivated, or disengaged at work. You might want to check your work wellbeing and understand what might be contributing to stress or low motivation.

If work is affecting your wellbeing (or vice versa)

You’re feeling stretched, unmotivated, or disengaged at work. You might want to check your work wellbeing and understand what might be contributing to stress or low motivation.

If you’re actively working through something

You’re navigating a transition (new role, relationship changes, parenthood, caregiving, grief, financial stress). Find out what you’re experiencing could benefit from extra support.

If you want a smarter starting point before seeking help

You’re considering therapy/coaching and want a clearer picture of what to bring into that conversation. You want to use results as a prompt to explore with a mental health professional.
Wherever you’re starting from, assessments give you a clearer snapshot, so you can take the next step with confidence.
